Local Anesthesia
Numbs the surgical area completely. You're awake and aware, but feel no pain. Best for simpler extractions.
Awake throughout the procedure.
Nitrous Oxide
"Laughing gas" inhaled through a small mask. Takes the edge off, eases anxiety, and wears off quickly. Combined with local anesthesia.
Effects fade quickly after the procedure.
IV Sedation
Deeper relaxation through an IV. Most patients have little to no memory of the procedure. A common choice for impacted wisdom teeth or multiple extractions.

Will I be put to sleep?
Only if you want to be. We offer local anesthesia (awake), nitrous oxide (relaxed), and IV sedation (deeply relaxed, with little to no memory of the procedure). See all sedation options. Dr. Ormeni will recommend a fit based on your case and your comfort level.
How long does recovery take?
Most patients are back to work or school in 3–5 days. Soft swelling peaks around day 2–3, then fades quickly. We'll send you home with a clear recovery plan and check in personally.
Can all four be removed at once?
Yes — and most patients prefer it. One surgery, one recovery, one set of time off. Dr. Ormeni typically completes all four wisdom teeth in 30–60 minutes under IV sedation.
